摘要：The fixing element (1) is used to provide an electrical connection between thecable shoe (5) secured to the stripped end (6) of an electrical cable and a furthercomponent. The bearing surface of the fixing element is positioned relative to the mainpart of the cable shoe contact plate (8) to allow its rotation through 360 degrees aboutthe longitudinal axis of the fixing element, without allowing removal from the latter. Thefixing element may be provided by a threaded screw or a nut, its bearing surface having areduced dia. section (11) receiving an annular projection of the contact plate, with theircooperating lipped edges preventing separation of the contact plate and the fixingelement.
