摘要：A device that facilitates the placement of one or more needles and theirattached sutures in the body of a surgical patient is disclosed. The device contains one ormore needle guide channels in which one or more needles may be backloaded. Thedevice also contains one or more lumens extending though the body of the device. One
or more sutures may be coupled to the one or more needles, and threaded through thelumen. The one or more needles may then be advanced out of their respective needleguide channels by pulling on one end of one or more sutures. When one end of a sutureis pulled, the attached needle is advanced out of the device and will pierce and bepositioned in the tissue that is located adjacent to the device.
