1. 项目背景
1.1 苯酐的性质及其用途

苯酐是重要的有机化工原料,有60%以上用于制造氯乙烯增塑剂,30%用于聚酯树脂
和醇酸树脂,其余10%则用于油漆、染料、医药和农药。下表1列出了苯酐的主要用途:

苯酐是医药的原料之一,但用量不大。由苯酐和磺胺噻唑,磺酰醋胺可治疗细菌性痢疾及肠胃炎。
农药
少量苯酐用于制造除草剂、杀菌剂等。
由苯酐和多元醇经缩合反应制得,是涂料专用的饱和聚酯树脂。
苯酐和另一不饱和酸或酐与二元醇经高温缩聚反应后,再加入交联剂、阻聚剂和防老剂经交联固化而成。由它加工而成的玻璃钢密度小、强度高。

国外苯酐生产状况

目前全球的苯酐生产能力为427.3×10t/a,其中北美占总生产能力的14.3%,西欧占24.3%,亚洲占41.3%,东欧(包括俄罗斯)占12%,南美及其它地区占8.1%。1998年世界
最大的5家苯酐生产商分别是:SISAS,Exxon,Aekyong,BASF和Aristech,总生产能力为79.2×10t/a,约占世界总生产能力的18.6%。
1992~1995年间,国外苯酐生产能力的年均增长率为4.6%,估计1997年的生产能力达到390万t,开工率按90%计算,产量达到351万t,若按1995~2000年间生产能力增长率为3.4%,到2000年生产能力达到480.5万t,开工率84%时,产量可达403.5万t。

1.2.2 国内苯酐生产形势及预测

1997年我国的苯酐产量达到了25.27×10t,是1991年产量的1.46倍,1991~1997年年均增长率达6.5%。近年来,由于苯酐的下游产品邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(DBP)和二辛酯(DOP)大量进口,国内的苯酐需求增长逐年放慢。2000年我国苯酐产量已达到36×10t左右,2005年我国苯酐生产能力可望超过74.5×10t/a,开工率以85%来计算,产量可望达到63×10t。

1.3 苯酐主要生产工艺及其技术进展

1.3.1 主要生产工艺
目前,全球苯酐生产所采用的工艺路线有萘流化床氧化和萘/邻二甲苯固定床氧化,其中邻二甲苯固定床氧化技术约占世界总生产能力的90%以上。邻二甲苯固定床氧化技术占美国总生产能力的82%,西欧的86%和日本的58%。萘流化床氧化工艺在国外已逐步淘汰,但在我国的苯酐生产中仍占有一定比例。邻二甲苯固定床气相氧化技术主要有BASF、Wacker-Chemie、ElfAtochem/日触和Alus-uisseItalia等几种典型的生产工艺。 (a) BASF工艺
BASF工艺于1976年工业化生产,总生产能力超过100×10t/a。BASF工艺的单台反应器最大生产能力为4.5×10t/a。经净化预热后的空气与气化的邻二甲苯混合进入列管式固定床反应器,在钒-钛环形催化剂表面进行反应,反应温度为360℃,空速为3000h,反应热由熔盐导出。粗苯酐在微负压下采用高温或同时添加少量化学品除去某些杂质后送入精馏塔精制。BAST工艺能有效地回收顺酐,苯酐的质量收率超过105%。 (b) Wacker-Chemie工艺
近年来各国新建的苯酐生产装置基本上都采用Wacker-Chemie工艺,至今世界上已有110套以上的装置采用此工艺,总生产能力为160×10t/a,单台反应器的最大生产能力为4.5×10t/a。
(c) ElfAtochem/日触工艺
ElfAtochem公司于1970年开始开发低能耗工艺,1986年该公司决定采用日触公司寿命长、选择性高的苯酐催化剂,并与日触公司共同开发了ElfAtochem/日触工艺。采用该工艺

的总生产能力约40×10t/a。该工艺与BASF工艺相似,工艺尾气全部催化焚烧处理,有机杂质含量低,无大气污染。 (d) AlusuisseItalia工艺
意大利的Alusuisse公司于1986年开发了AlusuisseItalia低空烃比工艺,空气对邻二甲苯的质量比减少到9.5∶1,而原料气浓度可提高到邻二甲苯134g/m空气(标准态)。到1996年,世界各地共有11套装置采用该工艺,总生产能力为24.9×10t/a。

1.3.2 苯酐生产技术进展
近年来世界各苯酐生产公司都致力于改进以邻二甲苯为原料的固定床氧化技术,并在催化剂、生产工艺和反应器设计等方面取得了重要的进展。 (a) 催化剂的改进
世界各生产公司着重研制低温、高邻二甲苯浓度、高负荷及高收率的催化剂。
ElfAtochem/日触公司在进料邻二甲苯浓度为85g/m空气(标准态)时,苯酐质量收率达到114%~115%,目前正在开发110g工艺的催化剂,并进一步开发120g工艺的催化剂。BASF公司开发的固定床双层催化剂,第一层:7%(质量分数)V2O5,2.5%Sb2O3,0.16%铷,其它部分为TiO2;第二层:7% V2O5,2.5% Sb2O3,0.5%磷,其它部分为TiO2。当反应温度分别控制在359℃和342℃时,苯酐质量收率达到109.8%。随着催化剂技术的进一步改进。各国开发的催化剂在活化时都不添加SO2。 (b) 生产工艺
Sisas公司开发了邻二甲苯两步氧化法制苯酐的工艺,苯酐的选择性达到85%~88%(一般方法为80%),且提高了产品纯度,未反应的邻二甲苯容易循环再氧化,由于气相氧化的放热减少50%,反应可在更低的温度下进行,降低了操作风险。日本触媒公司开发了尾气部分循环工艺,这样强化了操作安全、降低了操作费用和投资,苯酐的质量收率达到114%~116%。 (c) 反应器
反应器的相应改进包括:采用外循环反应器,反应器趋于大型化、双填充催化剂的固定床反应器。日触公司开发的双层反应器能优化反应器中的温度分布,降低热点温度,并延长催化剂的使用寿命;BASF公司在主反应器后设置一个后继反应器,使邻二甲苯完全氧化,改善了环保状况;Lurgi公司开发出的反应器采用反向进料和有效的撤热措施,降低了反应器“飞温”的可能性。总之,苯酐生产商都在积极研制高收率、高选择性和高负荷的催化剂,进行反应动力学和反应机理的研究,用数学模拟法放大反应器,提高了单台反应器的生产能力,进一步地降低了能耗和成本,提高了操作的安全性和自动化水平。

2. 工艺流程的确定
2.1 反应原理
邻二甲苯气相催化氧化制取苯酐的反应历程较为复杂,包括一系列平行和串联反应,并均为放热反应。其主反应和主要的副反应表示如下: 主反应

2.2 生产工艺
本设计采用目前国内外最常用的邻二甲苯固定床氧化法。空气经过滤净化,预热后与汽
化了的邻二甲苯混合进入反应器,管外用循环的熔盐移去反应热并维持反应温度,移出的热量用于产生高压蒸汽。反应器出来的气体经冷却器进入切换冷凝器,粗苯酐凝结在冷凝面上。定期熔融下来送至贮槽。废气经水洗涤后排空。粗苯酐在预分解器中经热处理后送至精馏系统,除去低沸点和高沸点的杂质,得到纯苯酐产品。工艺流程参照上一届同学的工作(见图1)。
通过查阅最新资料,参考最近的苯酐生产工艺开发进展。考虑到普通的邻二甲苯固定床氧化法制备苯酐的精馏残渣中含有大量的苯酐。一般回收苯酐的方法是将精馏塔底物送往薄膜蒸发器经蒸发后含苯酐的轻组分返回精馏塔底部,重质馏分(尚含有50%的苯酐)通入小直径塔内,在塔下部向该馏分的液流喷水,使得到的固体粒状物沉降下来,送去焚烧。但该法苯酐回收率低,费用高,生成大量污水,造成设备腐蚀,又因精馏分直接返回精馏塔底,增加杂质含量,影响苯酐产品纯度。而且苯酐和其他副产物的沸点相差较大,一般都在几十度以上。分离完全可以在一个塔内进行。这样既缩短了流程,节约了成本,又不降低分离要求。因此,我们改进了原有流程的苯酐分离工艺。如下简图分别表示苯酐生产和分离过程工艺流程:
2.3 设计目标
苯酐产量达30000t/y,最后获得的纯苯酐纯度达99.9%以上。
2.4 反应器的选择
反应器选择德国Deggen dorferwerft和Eisenbau公司合作制造的列管式反应器。反应器直径5米,2.2万根管,每根管内径25毫米。该反应器的特点是以熔盐为热载体,列管反应器中心装有搅拌器,下部装有列管式热交换器,通入水发生蒸汽移出反应热,并在盐浴和反应管内装有热电偶,以便掌握和控制反应温度。
2.5 和计算相关的工艺流程数据
(a) 反应过程

反应床层温度:360~380℃;反应压力:1 atm
原料:工业级邻二甲苯;进料量:5000kg/h ;转化率:99.8%;生成苯酐的选择性 约0.8
催化剂:低温高空速、V2O5—TiO2负载在惰性载体上的催化剂 空邻比:30:1
主要副产物:苯酞、顺酐、苯甲酸、柠康酐、二氧化碳
流程数据:邻二甲苯先预热到140℃、空气送到空气加热器加热到180℃。在汽化器中,空气与邻二甲苯混合汽化后进入固定床反应器。反应后生成的苯酐反应气在气体冷却器中降至155℃~160℃,然后进入切换冷凝器。 (b) 分离过程
粗苯酐先在热处理釜预热至260℃,然后送入蒸馏塔进行减压蒸馏。轻组分由塔顶蒸出,重质残渣由塔釜排出,纯苯酐从塔中间出料。
蒸馏塔:板数:50;塔顶压力:7kPa;塔板压降:0.01kPa。
3. 苯酐生产与分离过程的模拟与优化
3.1 苯酐生产过程的模拟
根据Aspen Plus软件的模拟结果可知,当邻二甲苯的进料量为5000kg/h,反应温度为380℃时,所得粗苯酐中各组分的含量(摩尔分数)如下:
苯酐:0.8872;水:0.0733;邻二甲苯:0.0188;顺酐:0.0162;苯甲酸:9.096×10;苯酞:1.021×10;柠康酐:1.919×10。
反应后流出的粗苯酐流量为(100℃):37.927kmol/h。 反应器热负荷为:-7.606×10kcal/h。

3.2 粗苯酐分离过程的优化
苯酐合成过程中所生成的主要副产物以及未参加反应的邻二甲苯沸点均比苯酐低,它们可以从塔顶蒸出。重质残渣可以塔底排出。纯苯酐从塔中间出料。在给定的分离要求下(纯苯酐含量99。9%),对进料板位置,回流比进行了优化。在固定出料板位置为第6块板,塔顶采出量为5kmol/h时,结果如图4所示,当进料板位置为第20块板时,达到分离要求所需的回流比最小,为100。

在最小回流比的情况下,纯苯酐采出量为32.5kmol/h。
塔底排出的重质残渣先通入一个分离罐进行分离。轻组分返回,并且同从反应器出来的粗苯酐混合再次进入分离系统。重组分视具体情况而定,可以进行二次分离或直接送去焚烧。在本设计中,确定进入分离罐的物料中50%的苯酐、95%的重质组分进入重组分排出,其余的物料进入轻组分返回。经模拟,最后计算出的苯酐损失量为0.1259kmol/h。

4. 结论
在上届同学工作的基础上,本设计对苯酐的生产过程做了模拟和优化,主要有以下一些工作:
(1)对苯酐实际生产过程中的反应进行了具体的模拟,获得了苯酐以及其他一些副产物在粗苯酐中的含量等一些数据。
(2)对苯酐生产中的分离工艺进行了改进。只使用一个蒸馏塔,并且对蒸馏后塔底排出的重质残渣中残余的苯酐进行了回收,缩短了流程,降低了成本。结果表明,改进分离工艺
后,所获得的苯酐纯度依然可达99.9%以上。在此基础之上,对蒸馏塔进行了优化计算,当进料板为第20块板时,回流比最小,为100。
(3)此分离工艺的改进可应用于实际生产中,产生实际的经济效益。
