Reading Makes Me Progress作文

As a junior high school student, I consider English a very important subject. I used to be poor at English, especially in English reading which I consider extremely difficult. The biggest problem was that after reading a passage, I couldn’t fully understand it, which made me feel very depressed and frustrated.

But I kept on reading English articles instead of just giving up. And I practiced reading English whenever I had a chance. Gradually, I made remarkable progress in English and picked up a lot of confidence through my constant effort. Reading English articles has really benefited me a lot. By reading English articles, my oral English has improved a lot. I’m able to keep English diaries. Through the English website, I can read some classic English passages, poems and stories. I’m not afraid of my English exams any longer. As you can imagine, nothing makes me prouder than feeling my progress in English.

As a saying goes, practice makes perfect. Reading English articles contributes much to my improvement. Only by practicing reading English articles can I make much progress in English. It plays an important part in my English study. It also makes me understand as long as I bravely face my weaknesses and take effective ways to overcome them, I believe I will be able to see my progress in myself.
